About Us

Truffles International

Truffles International (TI) was founded in 1990 for the purpose of growing the black Perigord truffle (Tuber melanosporum) in hydroponics selling it in various forms mainly to the culinary market. Our truffles are also used by a company in Santa Fe New Mexico, ErosMoshe LLC in the production of truffled chocolate truffles and a chocolate bar containing coffee that has caffeine equivalent to a cup of coffee.

Perfume
A new market is the use of truffles in the perfume industry, where they can be used to improve the persistence of perfume aroma. Beyond any culinary aspect of the cultured truffle, it was shown that an alcohol truffle extract is a very good "fixative" for perfume, producing exotic "sexy" aromas.
